# Roomfolk

Roomfolk is a Shopify theme for home and lifestyle stores — furniture, lighting, textiles, kitchen, decor. It is built on Shopify's Online Store 2.0, so every page is made of sections you arrange yourself in the theme editor, without touching code.

## What is in this documentation

* [**Getting started**](/roomfolk/getting-started/install.md) — install the theme and get your store live.
* [**Theme settings**](/roomfolk/theme-settings/colors.md) — colors, type, spacing and the settings that apply everywhere.
* [**Global sections**](/roomfolk/global-sections/header.md) — the announcement bar, header and footer.
* [**Sections**](/roomfolk/sections/hero.md) — the 19 sections you can add to any page.
* [**Blocks**](/roomfolk/blocks/general-blocks.md) — the smaller pieces that go inside sections.
* [**Pages**](/roomfolk/pages/home-page.md) — how each page of the store is put together.
* [**Support**](/roomfolk/support/faq.md) — frequently asked questions and what support covers.

## Before you start

Roomfolk uses only features built into Shopify. You do not need any apps to run it, and nothing in this documentation asks you to install one.

Every setting described here is one you will find in **Online Store → Themes → Customize**. Where a setting is somewhere else in your Shopify admin, the page says so.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.lufavo.com/roomfolk/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
